A left-hand hard top side weatherstrip seal (Part BWL 1110 76) engineered to restore a watertight, rattle-free connection between a removable hard top and vehicle body. This durable EPDM rubber seal resists UV, ozone and temperature extremes to provide long-lasting compression and sealing performance. It is intended as a direct-fit replacement for classic hard-top applications—confirm compatibility with your vehicle using the part number prior to purchase—and helps prevent water intrusion, wind noise and interior damage while maintaining correct hard-top alignment.
Features:
- Left-hand (driver-side) hard top side weatherstrip seal — part BWL 1110 76.
- Made from durable EPDM rubber for long-term resistance to UV, ozone and temperature changes.
- Seals the hard top to the body to prevent water leaks, wind noise, and interior damage.
- Restoration-grade replacement designed to match original seal profile and compression.
- Easy to install with common hand tools; trim-to-fit for exact alignment where needed.
- Helps preserve interior finishes and reduces vibration between hard top and body.
Installation / Application:
- Difficulty: 2/5
- Estimated time: 30-60 minutes
Instructions:
- Park vehicle on a level surface and remove the hard top following manufacturer guidance; support the top to avoid stress on remaining seals.
- Carefully pry out the old seal using a trim tool, noting any clips or fasteners; remove all old adhesive and residue.
- Clean the sealing channel and mating surface thoroughly with isopropyl alcohol and a lint-free cloth; allow to dry.
- Test-fit the new seal along the left side to verify orientation and any required trimming; mark excess length.
- If desired, apply a thin bead of weatherstrip adhesive to the channel or seal base per adhesive instructions (many installs rely on compression fit only).
- Press the new seal into the channel, working from one end to the other. Use a roller or rubber block to seat the seal evenly and compress it into place.
- Trim any excess material with a utility knife for a clean finish. Reinstall the hard top and check fitment, looking for even compression and absence of gaps.
- Allow adhesive to cure if used (follow manufacturer cure times). Recheck after a short test drive and make minor adjustments if necessary.
