Vent Post Weatherstrip Seal (Right-hand) VPR 1110 73 is a direct-fit replacement seal designed to restore proper sealing around the right-hand vent post. It prevents water intrusion and wind noise, protects interior trim from weather damage, and restores correct alignment and operation of vent windows. Made from durable EPDM rubber with a reinforced backing, the seal resists ozone, UV and temperature extremes for long-lasting performance. Ideal for restoration and maintenance of classic vehicles, it delivers an OEM-style fit and straightforward installation.
Features:

- Made from durable EPDM rubber with reinforced backing for long service life.
- Seals vent post to prevent water leaks, reduce wind noise, and protect interior trim.
- Direct-fit replacement restores original alignment and function of vent windows.
- Resistant to ozone, UV, and temperature extremes for reliable performance.

Installation / Application:
- Difficulty: 2/5
- Estimated time: 30-45 minutes
Instructions:
- Confirm part number and vehicle fitment before beginning.
- If needed, remove the vent window/vent post assembly per vehicle service procedure to gain clear access.
- Carefully pull off the old weatherstrip from the vent post. Use a trim tool or flat screwdriver to separate any stuck sections.
- Clean the vent post and surrounding channel thoroughly with isopropyl alcohol to remove old adhesive, dirt, and grease. Allow to dry.
- Test-fit the new weatherstrip on the post to ensure proper orientation and length before final installation.
- Apply a light coat of silicone lubricant or soapy water to the seal channel to ease installation. Use weatherstrip adhesive only where vehicle-specific instructions call for it.
- Starting at one end, press the new weatherstrip into place along the vent post channel, working slowly to avoid twisting or stretching the material.
- Trim any excess material with a utility knife or scissors for a neat finish, if applicable.
- Reinstall the vent window/vent post assembly and any fasteners removed. Tighten to factory specifications.
- Check operation and inspect for gaps. Perform a water test or road test to confirm leak-free, noise-free sealing.
