Best Quality Reproduction Heater Control Valve For 1955 Or 1956 Deluxe Heaters Patterned After Original & NOS Valves This Is The Clip Style Valve If You Have The Capillary Tube Style, You may Remove The Clip From This Valve And Use Your Original Tube In Its Place At some point, you will have to replace your heater core and heater control valve in your 1955 or 1956 Chevy. Some cars used a valve with a capillary tube for the temperature. Early on, Chevy decided this was not necessary and replaced it with a clip style valve. Those with the tube style are not out of luck. Just take off the clip and put your tube in its place...it's that simple!
