Installation / Application:

Instructions:
- Park on level ground and protect nearby trim with masking tape and rags.
- Carefully pry off the old top molding using a plastic trim tool or a wrapped flat-blade screwdriver to avoid scratching the paint or glass.
- Remove any remaining clips, adhesive residue, and accumulated dirt from the windshield channel; clean the surface with isopropyl alcohol and a clean rag. Allow to dry.
- Inspect the new molding and compare clip positions or orientation to the old part; transfer any reusable clips if necessary.
- Align the new molding with the windshield header and start pressing it into the channel at one end, working across to the other end. Ensure clips (if present) engage securely into their slots.
- If the molding is adhesive-backed or if a tighter seal is desired, apply a thin, compatible automotive sealant according to the sealant manufacturer’s instructions before seating the molding.
- Check the entire length for even fitment and that the molding sits flush against the glass and body. Make any minor adjustments by gently working the molding into place.
- Allow any adhesive or sealant to cure per product directions before driving; verify there are no gaps or pinched sections that could allow leaks.
