This column shift lever grommet is designed for 1960-1966 Chevrolet and GMC C/K pickup and Suburban models as well as 1958-1960 full-size Chevrolet vehicles including Biscayne, Bel Air, and Impala (B-Body). Installed at the steering column opening where the column shift lever passes through the column housing, this grommet helps seal the opening while protecting the shift lever from contact with the column edge. Manufactured to factory-style specifications, it serves as an OEM-style replacement for hardened, cracked, or missing original grommets during steering column service or classic restoration.

Each time a prototype body panel comes off of a new tooling, we test fit it on a car. The marked up prototype is then used to change and improve the tools, and a new prototype is produced. This procedure might be repeated multiple times but, once the part is finally approved, you can be assured of a quality part.
