Tailgate chain assemblies are used on Fleetside trucks as a method of supporting the gate when open, and securing the gate when it is closed. Each set is manufactured in steel, chrome-plated for corrosion resistance and a bright polished finish, and supplied with chains, hooks, and brackets. Sold as a set for the LH and RH sides.
