A direct-fit left-hand roof rail weatherstrip designed for 1967 4-door hardtop vehicles. This roof rail seal restores the original weatherproofing along the door-to-roof interface, preventing water intrusion, reducing wind noise, and protecting interior trim from moisture damage. Made to provide a durable, flexible sealing surface, it helps maintain factory fit and finish while offering reliable long-term performance and straightforward installation for restoration or replacement projects.
Features:
  • Fits 1967 4-door hardtop models — left-hand (driver side) roof rail weatherstrip.
  • High-quality, flexible rubber compound for reliable sealing and long service life.
  • Restores factory-style fit to prevent leaks, drafts, and wind noise.
  • Helps protect interior trim and upholstery from water damage and corrosion.
  • Designed for restoration and replacement applications — durable and easy to install.
Installation / Application:
  • Difficulty: 2/5
  • Estimated time: 45-60 minutes
Suggested Tools:
  • Flat-blade screwdriver or trim removal tool
  • Razor blade or utility knife
  • Weatherstrip adhesive (if required)
  • Cleaner/degreaser (isopropyl alcohol)
  • Clean cloths
  • Masking tape
  • Scissors or snips
Instructions:
  1. Park vehicle on level ground and open the door to access the roof rail area.
  2. Carefully remove the old weatherstrip: use a trim tool or flat-blade screwdriver to lift and pull out the old seal. Cut away any stubborn sections with a razor blade.
  3. Clean the mounting channel thoroughly with a degreaser or isopropyl alcohol to remove old adhesive, dirt, and residue. Allow to dry completely.
  4. Dry-fit the new weatherstrip along the roof rail to confirm orientation and length; trim excess if necessary. Ensure the seal is for the left-hand side.
  5. If adhesive is recommended, apply a thin, even bead of weatherstrip adhesive in the channel following the adhesive manufacturer's instructions.
  6. Starting at one end, press the new weatherstrip into the channel, working along the rail and pressing firmly so the seal seats fully. Use masking tape to hold the seal in place if needed while adhesive sets.
  7. Trim any overhang at the ends with scissors or snips and ensure mating surfaces (door edge, quarter trim) contact the seal correctly.
  8. Allow adhesive to cure per product instructions (typically 1–24 hours), then remove any tape and test the seal by closing the door and checking for fit, gaps, or leaks.
