Instructions:
- Open the door and remove the old weatherstrip: pry out retainers/clips and peel the old seal from the door channel.
- Clean the door channel and mating surface thoroughly with rubbing alcohol or an appropriate cleaner; remove old adhesive and debris.
- Inspect and replace any damaged retainers or clips before fitting the new seal.
- Test-fit the new weatherstrip along the door edge to confirm orientation (left/right) and alignment; trim excess if necessary.
- If adhesive is recommended, apply a thin bead of weatherstrip adhesive to the door channel per the adhesive manufacturer’s instructions.
- Starting at the top hinge area, press the new weatherstrip into the channel and work toward the latch side, firmly seating the bulb and flange into place and engaging any retaining clips.
- Trim the ends flush with the door edge where needed and reinstall any trim or retainers removed earlier.
- Close the door and check for proper sealing and fit; adjust as needed. Allow any adhesive to cure per product instructions before driving.
