Precision Glass Run Channel GRK 1110 64 is a two-piece left/right window run that provides a secure, low-friction guide and seal for vehicle door glass. Designed as a direct-fit replacement for compatible door assemblies, the channel helps maintain proper glass alignment, reduces wind noise and vibration, and protects the glass edge from wear and chipping. Constructed from durable, weather-resistant materials with a reinforced backing, this kit restores factory function and longevity for aging or damaged run channels. Check vehicle fitment before purchase to ensure compatibility with your door application.
Features:
- Two-piece kit includes both left and right hand glass run channels (GRK 1110 64).
- Made from durable, weather-resistant materials with a reinforced backing for long service life.
- Guides and seals door glass to reduce wind noise, vibration, and wear on the glass edge.
- Direct replacement for worn or damaged glass runs—ideal for restoration and maintenance.
- Simple installation with basic hand tools; helps prevent water intrusion and improves door operation.
Installation / Application:
- Difficulty: 2/5
- Estimated time: 45-90 minutes per door
Instructions:
- Disconnect the vehicle battery (recommended) and fully lower the window glass to the lowest position.
- Remove the interior door panel and any water/vapor barrier to expose the door inner structure and glass run area.
- Support the glass with tape or a helper; if necessary, partially detach the glass from the regulator following vehicle-specific steps.
- Remove the existing glass run channel by releasing clips or carefully cutting bonded sections; pull the old channel away from the door frame.
- Thoroughly clean the channel mounting surface, removing old adhesive, debris, and rust; wipe with isopropyl alcohol and allow to dry.
- Test-fit the new channel pieces to confirm correct left/right orientation and trim length as required.
- Apply a light coating of silicone spray or rubber lubricant to the channel inner surface to aid installation and reduce initial friction.
- Press the new channel into the door frame, ensuring any clips or mounting tabs fully engage and the channel seats evenly along the full length.
- Reinstall or reattach the glass to the regulator, cycle the window slowly to confirm smooth travel and proper alignment, and verify a good seal against the glass.
- Reinstall the vapor barrier and door panel, tighten fasteners, and perform a final operational and leak/noise check.
