The Precision Hood To Cowl Seal CS 1110 60 is a replacement hood-to-cowl weatherseal designed to keep water, dirt, and road noise out of the cowl area and engine bay. It restores the factory sealing function between the hood and cowl, helping prevent corrosion, water intrusion to the firewall and HVAC intake, and reducing wind noise and vibration. Made from durable EPDM-style synthetic rubber for long-lasting compression set resistance and weatherability. Verify fitment by part number CS 1110 60 for your vehicle application before ordering.

Installation / Application:
- Difficulty: 2/5
- Estimated time: 30-60 minutes
Instructions:
- Open the hood and support it securely.
- Carefully remove the old seal by prying it out of the channel with a trim tool or flathead screwdriver; retain any clips if reusable.
- Clean the mounting area thoroughly with rubbing alcohol or degreaser to remove old adhesive, dirt and oils; allow to dry.
- Test-fit the new seal along the cowl edge to confirm orientation and fit. Trim excess if necessary, cutting a little at a time.
- If adhesive is recommended, apply a thin bead of weatherstrip adhesive to the mounting channel or to the seal per adhesive instructions.
- Press the seal firmly into place along the channel, starting at one end and working to the other. Use masking tape to hold in place temporarily if needed.
- Close the hood gently to verify clearance and alignment; adjust seal position if necessary before the adhesive cures.
- Allow adhesive to cure per manufacturer instructions (typically 1–24 hours) before driving.
