Instructions:

- Place a drain pan under the radiator and partially drain coolant to lower hose level below the clamp you’re replacing.

- Position the clamp 3–6 mm (1/8–1/4 inch) behind the hose bead or directly over the barb, centered on the fitting.
- Tighten the clamp securely until the hose is snug and leak-free; avoid over-tightening which can damage the hose.

- Start the engine, bring to operating temperature, check for leaks, and re-tighten clamps if necessary after a short test drive.
