A cut-to-fit 3/8" I.D. x 3 ft power steering return hose engineered for 1960–1980 GM and Chrysler applications. This flexible return line routes low-pressure fluid from the steering gear back to the reservoir, restoring leak-free operation and reliable steering feel on restored or maintained classic vehicles. Constructed from oil- and weather-resistant rubber with textile reinforcement, it resists swelling, abrasion and common power steering fluids while remaining easy to trim and install for a clean, factory-style repair.
Features:
- Fitment: Designed for 1960–1980 GM and Chrysler power steering return hose applications.
- Size: 3/8" inner diameter, 3 feet long — cut-to-fit length for custom routing.
- Material: Oil- and weather-resistant rubber with textile reinforcement for durability.
- Function: Replaces worn return line to prevent leaks and restore proper fluid return.
- Ease of use: Trim-to-length design allows quick custom fitting during restoration.
- Durability: Resists swelling, ozone, and abrasion for long-term reliability.

Installation / Application:
- Difficulty: 2/5
- Estimated time: 30-45 minutes
Instructions:
- Park vehicle on level ground, set parking brake and disconnect the battery for safety if recommended by vehicle service procedures.
- Place a drain pan beneath the steering gear/reservoir area to catch fluid. Remove any components obstructing access to the return hose.
- Loosen and remove clamps or fittings securing the old return hose, then carefully remove the hose and allow fluid to drain into the pan.
- Compare the new hose to the old one and plan routing. Slide new clamps onto the hose before installation.
- Trim the new hose to the required length with a clean, straight cut. Leave enough length to avoid kinks and permit proper routing.
- Push the hose fully onto the fittings (or install adapters as required) and position clamps over the fitting ends. Tighten clamps securely but avoid over-tightening that can cut the hose.
- Refill the power steering reservoir with the correct fluid to the proper level using a funnel.
- Bleed air from the system by starting the engine and slowly turning the steering wheel from lock to lock several times, checking fluid level and for leaks. Top off fluid as necessary.
- Inspect all connections for leaks with the engine running and steering operated. Re-check hose routing, secure any components removed, and properly dispose of old fluid.
