Complete bed floor mounting hardware for 1967–1972 Chevrolet and GMC trucks (short and long bed). This kit replaces worn or corroded fasteners and mounting components to securely align and fasten the truck bed floor to the chassis, restoring factory fit and reducing vibration and squeaks. Made from durable, corrosion-resistant materials, the set provides reliable long-term performance and straightforward installation for restorations or repairs.
Features:
  • Fitment: 1967–1972 Chevrolet & GMC truck bed floor mounting hardware for both short and long beds.
  • Not for use with wood floor models.
  • Durable, corrosion-resistant plated steel components designed for long service life.
  • Restores correct alignment and secure attachment of the bed floor to eliminate movement and noise.
  • Complete replacement kit includes bolts, washers, mounting blocks, and fasteners needed for a full restoration.
  • Designed for easy installation with common hand tools; ideal for restoration projects or maintenance.
Installation / Application:
  • Difficulty: 3/5
  • Estimated time: 1–3 hours (depending on condition and whether bed removal is required)
Suggested Tools:
  • Socket set and ratchet
  • Torque wrench
  • Combination wrenches
  • Screwdrivers
  • Pry bar
  • Jack and jack stands or lift
  • Penetrating oil
  • Wire brush or scraper
  • Anti-seize or thread lubricant
  • Safety glasses and gloves
Instructions:
  1. Prepare the vehicle: park on level ground, engage parking brake, and support the truck with jack stands or a lift. If needed, remove the truck bed according to factory procedure to access all mounting points.
  2. Apply penetrating oil to existing fasteners if present and remove the old hardware. Keep parts organized and inspect bed floor and frame for damage or heavy corrosion.
  3. Clean mounting surfaces with a wire brush or scraper to remove rust, debris, and old gasket material. Ensure surfaces are dry and free of contaminants.
  4. Lay out the new hardware components and compare with removed parts to confirm fit and quantity.
  5. Position the bed floor (or bed) and align mounting points. Install new mounting blocks, bolts, washers, and nuts by hand to start.
  6. Tighten fasteners sequentially and evenly to draw the floor into position. When all hardware is hand-tight, torque to the factory specification for your vehicle (consult a service manual).
  7. Recheck alignment and gaps between bed and cab. If the bed was removed, reinstall per factory instructions, reattach wiring and components, and test for fit and function.
  8. Apply a corrosion-inhibiting spray to the underside and fasteners as a final step. After a short test drive, re-torque fasteners if recommended by the service manual.
