Precision Glass Run Channel (Left or Right Hand) for Vent Window Delete GRB 1110 73 VWD is a replacement sealing channel designed to restore a secure, weather-tight fit for vent-window delete installations on 1973 applications. It keeps glass guided and cushioned, prevents water intrusion and wind noise, and helps reduce vibration and abrasion between glass and body. Built from a durable, weather-resistant rubber compound, this channel provides reliable long-term performance and a factory-like seal for restoration or maintenance projects. Easy to handle and trim to fit, it’s an essential part when refurbishing vent-window delete assemblies.

Instructions:
  1. Remove any interior trim or channel retainers to access the old glass run channel.
  2. Carefully pull out the old channel from the window frame; use a pry tool if needed to avoid damaging surrounding metal or trim.
  3. Clean the channel cavity and glass edge thoroughly of dirt, old adhesive, and debris with a clean rag and mild cleaner; allow to dry.
  4. Check the new channel against the opening and test-fit along the full length; trim excess if necessary with a utility knife or scissors.
  5. Apply a thin coating of soapy water or silicone lubricant to the channel interior and glass edge to ease installation.
  6. Starting at one end, press the new channel into the frame groove and work your way along the length, ensuring the profile seats fully and evenly.
  7. Use a rubber mallet or firm hand pressure to set the channel into place if required; avoid sharp impacts to the glass.
  8. Reinstall any trim or retainers removed earlier and test the glass operation to confirm smooth movement and a proper seal.
  9. Make final adjustments or minor trims if needed; wipe away lubricant and allow to set before final use.
