Complete weatherstrip seal kit designed for vehicles that use push-on door seals and have a large rear window with black beltlines. Intended for select 1967 models without a weatherstrip trim groove, this kit replaces worn seals to stop water intrusion, reduce wind noise, and restore proper window and door fit. Made from durable rubber compounds with OEM-style profiles, the kit delivers long-lasting resistance to ozone, UV and temperature extremes while offering an easy push-on installation that speeds restoration and maintenance.
Features:
- Fits select 1967 models without a weatherstrip trim groove, with large rear window and black beltlines.
- Complete kit includes weatherstrips for rear window and push-on door seals to replace worn or missing seals.
- Durable EPDM-style rubber resists UV, ozone and temperature extremes for reliable, long life.
- Push-on door seals install quickly—no complex trimming or metal trim retention required for most doors.
- Restoration-ready profiles replicate original fit and appearance to maintain factory lines and reduce leaks.
- Helps eliminate water leaks, wind noise and dust intrusion while protecting interior trim and metal surfaces.
- Flexible construction conforms to door and window contours for a tight, consistent seal.
Installation / Application:
- Difficulty: 2/5
- Estimated time: 1-2 hours
Instructions:
- Park vehicle on a level surface, lower windows (if applicable) and open doors to access seal mounting areas.
- Carefully remove old weatherstripping: use a plastic pry tool to lift and peel seals out of channels. Remove any clips or adhesive residue.
- Thoroughly clean the mounting channels and surrounding surface with isopropyl alcohol and a lint-free cloth; allow to dry.
- Dry-fit new weatherstrip pieces to confirm correct orientation and length. Use masking tape to temporarily hold pieces in place if needed.
- If reinstalling push-on door seals, lightly lubricate the bulb or channel with soapy water or silicone spray to ease engagement.
- Starting at one end (usually the top hinge area), press the push-on seal into the channel, working along the length and ensuring the retention bead seats fully.
- Trim any excess material with a utility knife or scissors so mating corners and ends butt cleanly. For window seals, ensure corners align with beltline contours.
- If any areas are loose or the surface is porous, apply a thin bead of weatherstrip adhesive to secure the seal (use sparingly and follow adhesive instructions).
- Cycle doors and windows slowly to verify clearance and proper sealing; make minor adjustments as needed to prevent binding.
- Allow any adhesive to cure per manufacturer instructions before normal use and re-check fit after 24 hours.
