Instructions:
- Park vehicle on a level surface and remove the hardtop per manufacturer instructions (if applicable) or support it securely.
- Carefully remove the old weatherstrip from the left roof rail channel using a plastic trim tool; avoid scratching painted surfaces.
- Clean the mounting channel thoroughly with rubbing alcohol or adhesive cleaner to remove old adhesive, dirt, and oils; allow to dry completely.
- Test-fit the new weatherstrip along the rail to ensure correct orientation and length. Trim any excess with a utility knife for a neat fit.
- Apply a thin bead or dabs of weatherstrip adhesive to the rail channel or back of the seal as recommended by the adhesive maker (apply sparingly to avoid squeeze-out).
- Press the seal into the channel starting from the front and working toward the rear. Use a plastic roller or block of wood to seat the seal evenly and eliminate air gaps.
- Secure the seal in place with pieces of masking tape spaced every 6–8 inches while adhesive cures (follow adhesive cure time).
- After the adhesive has fully cured, remove masking tape, reinstall the hardtop (if removed), and perform a water test to check for leaks and ensure proper sealing.
