Instructions:
- Park vehicle on a level surface and open doors to access the roof rail area.
- Carefully remove the old weatherstrip by prying at one end and pulling it out of the channel; use a trim tool to avoid damaging paint.
- Clean the roof rail channel thoroughly with rubbing alcohol or adhesive cleaner to remove old adhesive, dirt, and debris; allow to dry.
- Test-fit the new right-hand weatherstrip (RWR 1411 67) along the rail to ensure correct orientation and length.
- If adhesive is recommended for your application, apply a thin bead to the channel or back of the seal as directed by the adhesive manufacturer.
- Align the leading edge of the weatherstrip and press it firmly into the channel, working along the rail and seating the seal into place. Use a rubber roller or block to press evenly.
- Trim any excess material at the ends with a utility knife for a neat fit.
- Recheck the seal along the full length, adjust as needed, and allow any adhesive to cure per product instructions before exposing to moisture.
- Close the door and inspect for gaps, wind noise, or leaks; perform a water test if desired to confirm proper sealing.
