Precision Beltline Molding, Inner Left Hand WFL 1100 81 is an OEM-style replacement trim piece designed to secure and finish the inner beltline on the left side of compatible WFL 1100 vehicles (code 81). It protects the paint along the window channel, provides a clean visual transition between glass and body, and restores correct alignment and sealing where the original molding has corroded, bent, or been lost. Constructed for durability with a corrosion-resistant finish and engineered for a precise fit, this molding simplifies restoration and routine maintenance while improving long‑term reliability.
Features:
- Fitment: Designed for WFL 1100 (code 81) — inner left-hand beltline molding.
- Material: High-grade corrosion-resistant extruded alloy with a durable finish for long life.
- Function: Secures window edge, protects paint and seals the gap between glass and body.
- Durability: OEM-style construction resists corrosion and deformation for reliable service.
- Ease of use: Manufactured to precise dimensions for straightforward replacement and alignment.
- Application: Ideal for restoration projects and replacement of worn or damaged beltline trim.
Installation / Application:
- Difficulty: 2/5
- Estimated time: 30-60 minutes
Instructions:
- Prepare the work area: park on a level surface, lower the window slightly (if applicable) and protect surrounding paint with masking tape.
- Remove interior trim panels as needed to access the beltline molding fasteners or clips.
- Carefully pry out the old molding: release clips with a plastic trim tool and remove any screws or retained adhesive.
- Clean the channel thoroughly with rubbing alcohol to remove dirt, adhesive residue, and corrosion; allow to dry.
- Test-fit the new molding in the channel to verify orientation and clip/screw locations.
- Install any new clips or retainers supplied or reuse serviceable hardware; apply adhesive/sealant sparingly if original assembly used it.
- Align the molding at one end, then press it into place along the channel, seating each clip or fastener. Use a rubber mallet gently if needed to fully seat the molding.
- Reinstall interior trim panels and any screws removed during disassembly.
- Inspect the installed molding for gaps, alignment, and secure fit. Operate the window (if applicable) to confirm proper clearance.
