A direct-fit inner right-hand beltline molding for applications coded WFR 1100 73. This molding secures and protects the window beltline, conceals the edge of the glass, and restores the vehicle's exterior trim appearance. Engineered with a corrosion-resistant finish and precise profile, it provides reliable alignment and long-lasting protection against water intrusion and abrasion while offering an easy installation for restoration or maintenance projects.
Features:
  • Fits application code WFR 1100 73 — Inner right-hand beltline molding
  • Durable, corrosion-resistant finish for long life and weather protection
  • Restores factory appearance and hides the window edge for a clean finish
  • Helps secure trim, reduce vibration, and prevent paint damage along the beltline
  • Designed for OEM-style fit and straightforward replacement during restorations
Installation / Application:
  • Difficulty: 2/5
  • Estimated time: 30-60 minutes
Suggested Tools:
  • Plastic trim pry tool
  • Flat-head screwdriver
  • Heat gun or hair dryer (for old adhesive)
  • Isopropyl alcohol and clean cloths
  • Weatherstrip adhesive or approved trim adhesive (if required)
  • Replacement retainer clips (if original clips are damaged)
  • Gloves
Instructions:
  1. Park vehicle on a level surface and protect surrounding paint with tape or cloth.
  2. Carefully remove the old beltline molding: use a plastic pry tool and, if adhesive is present, soften with a heat gun or hair dryer. Remove any retainer clips or fasteners.
  3. Clean the channel and surrounding area thoroughly with isopropyl alcohol to remove dirt, grease, and old adhesive. Allow to dry.
  4. Inspect and replace any damaged retainer clips or fasteners. Lay out the new molding and verify orientation (inner right-hand).
  5. Test-fit the new molding along the beltline to ensure proper alignment with door/window edges and any mounting holes or clips.
  6. If the molding uses clips: align and press the molding into the channel until each clip engages. If adhesive is required: apply a thin bead of weatherstrip adhesive per the adhesive manufacturer's instructions, then position the molding and hold in place until set.
  7. Reinstall any removed trim pieces or glass run seals, and wipe away any excess adhesive immediately.
  8. Allow adhesive to cure if used (follow adhesive cure time), then check fit and operation of the window and door. Replace any protective tape and clean the area.
