  • Restores the outer left-hand beltline for a factory-aligned appearance.
  • Protects paint and seals the door/window interface to reduce water intrusion.
  • Durable, corrosion-resistant construction for long-term reliability.
  • Designed for straightforward installation with clips or retainers; no major modification required.
  • Ideal for restoration, maintenance, or replacement of worn or damaged trim pieces.
Installation / Application:
  • Difficulty: 2/5
  • Estimated time: 30-60 minutes
Suggested Tools:
  • Trim removal tool or plastic pry
  • Phillips and flat-head screwdrivers
  • Needle-nose pliers
  • Rubber mallet or soft-faced hammer
  • Isopropyl alcohol or trim cleaner
  • Clean lint-free cloth
  • Masking tape
Instructions:
  1. Park vehicle on a level surface and lower windows (if applicable) to access molding ends.
  2. Carefully remove any fasteners, screws, or retainers holding the old molding using screwdrivers and pliers.
  3. Use a trim removal tool to pry off the old molding; take care to avoid damaging paint or the channel.
  4. Clean the mounting channel thoroughly with isopropyl alcohol or trim cleaner and a lint-free cloth. Remove old adhesive residue and dirt.
  5. Test-fit the new molding along the beltline to confirm orientation and alignment before final installation.
  6. If clips or retainers are separate, install them onto the molding per their positions. Use masking tape to mark alignment points if helpful.
  7. Starting at one end, press the molding into the channel, engaging clips or retainers. Use a rubber mallet with a protective block to seat the molding evenly if necessary.
  8. Trim any excess at the ends to match the door/window opening and reinstall any screws or fasteners removed earlier.
  9. Wipe down the installed molding, inspect fitment and gaps, and operate the window/door to confirm there is no interference.
