  • Supplies matched left and right beltline moldings to restore original exterior trim.
  • Factory-style profile and mounting points for accurate alignment and appearance.
  • Helps seal the window-to-body seam to reduce water intrusion and vibration.
  • Ideal for restorations, replacements, or upgrading worn/damaged trim.
  • Easy to install with basic hand tools; designed for a secure, long-lasting fit.
Installation / Application:
  • Difficulty: 2/5
  • Estimated time: 45 minutes - 1.5 hours
Suggested Tools:
  • Plastic trim removal tool
  • Flathead screwdriver
  • Phillips screwdriver
  • Socket set or nut driver
  • Panel clips or rivet gun (if applicable)
  • Cleaning solvent (isopropyl alcohol)
  • Masking tape
  • Measuring tape
  • Rubber mallet or soft-faced hammer
Instructions:
  1. Park vehicle on level ground, roll windows up, and disconnect the negative battery terminal if working near powered components.
  2. Carefully remove existing beltline molding: use a plastic trim tool to pry up trim clips or a screwdriver for fasteners; retain any reusable clips or screws.
  3. Clean the mounting channel thoroughly with isopropyl alcohol to remove old adhesive, dirt, and corrosion; allow to dry.
  4. Test-fit the new left and right moldings to confirm orientation and alignment with body seams, door gaps and mounting holes.
  5. If the kit uses clips, insert retained/new clips into the molding or vehicle channel per the kit layout; for adhesive-backed styles, apply recommended bonding agent or remove liner as directed.
  6. Align the molding at one end, press into place along the channel, and engage clips or fasteners sequentially. Use masking tape to hold temporary alignment if needed.
  7. Secure any screws, rivets, or fasteners to factory torque/specifications; gently tap the molding into place with a rubber mallet to seat it evenly.
  8. Inspect gaps and seal lines for uniform fit. Clean any fingerprints or installation debris. Reinstall interior trim panels if removed and reconnect the battery if disconnected.
  9. Allow any adhesive or sealant to cure per product instructions before washing the vehicle or driving in heavy rain.
