The Precision Door Weatherstrip Seal, Right Hand DWR 1121 67 is a direct-fit replacement seal engineered to restore proper sealing at the right-hand door. It creates a tight barrier against wind, water, dust, and road noise to protect the interior and preserve cabin comfort. Molded to match original profiles, the seal offers long-lasting durability, resistance to UV and ozone, and easy installation for restoration or maintenance projects on classic vehicles using the DWR 1121 67 reference.
Features:
- Molded profile matches original DWR 1121 67 right-hand door seal for classic restoration and replacement projects.
- Constructed from durable, weather-resistant EPDM rubber for long service life and flexibility in varying temperatures.
- Seals against wind, water, dust, and road noise to protect interior trim and prevent water intrusion.
- OEM-style fit and finish for proper door alignment and consistent compression without causing panel binding.
- Easy to install with adhesive backing or standard weatherstrip adhesive — no specialty molding required.
- UV and ozone resistant to minimize cracking, shrinkage, and deformation over time.
- Ideal for restorations, routine maintenance, or replacing degraded original seals to restore vehicle comfort and value.
Installation / Application:
- Difficulty: 2/5
- Estimated time: 30-60 minutes
Instructions:
- Lower the window and remove any trim or door panel fasteners necessary to access the seal channel.
- Carefully remove the old weatherstrip: peel away adhesive and pull out any remaining rubber or clips. Use a trim tool to avoid damaging paint.
- Clean the seal channel thoroughly with rubbing alcohol or a solvent cleaner to remove old adhesive, dirt, and grease. Allow to dry.
- Test-fit the new seal along the door frame to confirm orientation and full length. Trim excess if necessary with a utility knife.
- Apply a thin, even layer of weatherstrip adhesive to the channel or to the seal per the adhesive manufacturer’s instructions. Use masking tape to hold starting position if helpful.
- Press the seal firmly into place, working along the length of the door. Use a rubber roller or apply fingertip pressure to ensure uniform contact and compression.
- Reinstall any trim or door panel components removed earlier. Close the door and check for even compression and proper door alignment.
- Allow adhesive to cure per product instructions before exposing the seal to moisture or heavy use (typically several hours).
