Instructions:
- Park vehicle on level ground, disconnect battery if necessary, and wear safety gear.
- Remove the interior door panel and any trim obstructing access to the vent window frame.
- Locate and remove the fasteners securing the vent frame or vent glass retaining channel.
- Support the vent frame while loosening any remaining hardware and carefully lift out the old glass.
- Clean the frame, channel, and gasket seating area of debris, old adhesive, and glass fragments.
- Inspect or replace the rubber gasket/seal. Lightly lubricate the gasket channel if recommended.
- Position the new 2495 T GTN vent glass into the frame or gasket, using a suction cup or helper if needed.
- Align the glass in the channel, ensure correct hand (LH/RH) orientation, and seat it evenly.
- Reinstall and tighten the vent frame fasteners to secure the glass; avoid overtightening.
- Test operation (if adjustable) and check for proper sealing. Reinstall the door panel and trim.
- Perform a water and wind-noise check; retighten hardware or adjust gasket as required.
