This Precision Windshield Weatherstrip Seal is designed to work with Chrome Trim WCR D631 to provide a watertight, vibration-reducing seal around the windshield. Made from durable, weather-resistant EPDM rubber and engineered to match original profile and tolerances, it prevents leaks, wind noise, and interior water damage while protecting the windshield edge and surrounding trim. Ideal for restoration projects or replacement maintenance, the seal offers reliable long-term performance and a snug, OEM-style fit that simplifies installation.

  • Flathead screwdriver (protected tip)
  • Rubbing alcohol or automotive cleaner
  • Lint-free cloths
  • Weatherstrip adhesive (if required)
  • Painter's tape or masking tape
  • Rubber mallet or soft-faced hammer
  • Utility knife or scissors
  • Gloves
Instructions:
  1. Park vehicle on a level surface and protect painted surfaces with tape or cloth.
  2. Carefully remove the chrome trim (WCR D631) using a plastic trim tool and protected flathead screwdriver to avoid scratching.
  3. Pull out the old weatherstrip and remove any adhesive residue or debris from the windshield channel using rubbing alcohol and a lint-free cloth; allow to dry.
  4. Test-fit the new weatherstrip in the channel and against the chrome trim to confirm orientation and fit before applying any adhesive.
  5. If adhesive is required by your application, apply a thin, even bead of weatherstrip adhesive to the channel per adhesive instructions.
  6. Press the weatherstrip into place along the entire windshield channel, working from one side to the other; use a rubber mallet or soft-faced hammer with a protective block if needed to seat the seal evenly.
  7. Reinstall the chrome trim (WCR D631) over the newly seated seal, ensuring clips or fasteners engage correctly and trim sits flush.
  8. Tape the trim in place if recommended and allow adhesive to cure per manufacturer directions (if used).
  9. Inspect the seal for gaps and test for leaks after cure by gently spraying water around the windshield perimeter.
