Installation / Application:

Instructions:
- Lower the window and remove the interior door panel or access panel to expose the vent window assembly.
- Support the vent glass and remove hinge/retaining screws or rivets securing the vent frame (keep hardware organized).
- Carefully remove the vent assembly from the door; note alignment and orientation for reinstallation.
- Peel out the old weatherstrip from the vent frame. Use a razor blade or scraper to remove old adhesive and rubber residue, then clean the channel with isopropyl alcohol.
- Test-fit the new seal on the vent frame. If tight, warm the rubber briefly (sun or warm air) for flexibility.
- Work the new seal onto the vent frame, ensuring the molded channel fully seats over the frame lip and corners are aligned.
- If specified or desired, apply a thin bead of weatherstrip adhesive inside the channel before final seating to secure the seal.
- Reinstall the vent assembly into the door, align the glass and frame, then tighten hinge/retaining hardware to original positions.
- Operate the vent and window to check for smooth operation and uniform compression of the seal. Reinstall the interior door panel.
