Replacement right or left sway bar end link for many domestic and import vehicles from 1960–2011, designed to connect the anti-roll bar to the suspension and restore proper handling. Fits Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet, Dodge, Ford, Lincoln, Mercury, Nissan, Oldsmobile, Plymouth and Pontiac applications. The link reduces body roll, restores steering stability, and prevents premature wear of other suspension components. Constructed for durability and reliable performance, it is a direct-fit service part ideal for restoration projects, routine maintenance, or upgrades to worn factory links.

  • Jack and jack stands or vehicle lift
  • Socket set and ratchet
  • Wrenches (open-end or box)
  • Torque wrench
  • Penetrating oil (for rusted fasteners)
  • Pry bar or pick (optional)
  • Hammer (optional)
Instructions:
  1. Park the vehicle on level ground, engage the parking brake, and loosen lug nuts if removing the wheel.
  2. Raise the vehicle with a jack and secure on jack stands. Remove the wheel to access the sway bar link, if necessary.
  3. Apply penetrating oil to the link fasteners and allow it to soak to ease removal of rusted bolts.
  4. Hold the link top or lower nut with a wrench while removing the mounting nut(s) with a socket or wrench. Some links use studs with nuts; others use through-bolts—remove as configured.
  5. Remove the old sway bar link from the sway bar and control arm. Use a pry bar or hammer carefully if components are seized.
  6. Compare the new link to the old one to ensure correct length and orientation (right vs left).
  7. Install the new link into the sway bar and control arm. Hand-thread the fasteners to avoid cross-threading.
  8. Tighten the mounting nuts to the vehicle manufacturer's specified torque with a torque wrench. If no spec is available, tighten securely but avoid over-torquing.
  9. Reinstall the wheel (if removed), lower the vehicle, and torque the lug nuts to spec.
  10. Test-drive at low speed to confirm proper handling and that no unusual noises are present. Re-check fastener torque after a short drive.
