DWP 1520 67 4-door hardtop rear door weatherstrip seal kit provides an OEM-style replacement for the left and right rear door openings on 1967 4-door hardtop vehicles. Designed to seal the door opening and window channel, this 2-piece kit prevents water intrusion, reduces wind noise and vibration, and helps preserve interior trim and upholstery. Made from durable, weather-resistant rubber with an accurate profile for a factory fit, the seals restore proper door sealing performance while offering long-term reliability and straightforward installation.
Features:
- Fits 1967 4-door hardtop vehicles — left and right rear door application (2-piece kit).
- Exact-profile rubber weatherstrip restores factory sealing around the rear door/window opening.
- Durable EPDM-style rubber resists UV, ozone and temperature extremes for long service life.
- Reduces water leaks, wind noise and rattles to protect interior trim and improve comfort.
- Includes both left and right seals; designed for direct-fit replacement and restoration projects.
- Simple trim-in-place design for a fast, reliable installation with common hand tools.
Installation / Application:
- Difficulty: 2/5
- Estimated time: 30-45 minutes
Instructions:
- Lower the rear door glass (if applicable) and remove the interior door panel or trim that interferes with the weatherstrip removal following vehicle-specific procedures.
- Carefully pull out the old weatherstrip from the channel, using a flat plastic trim tool to avoid scratching paint or trim. Remove any old adhesive, foam or residue.
- Clean the mounting channel thoroughly with isopropyl alcohol and a clean cloth; allow it to dry completely.
- Test-fit the new seal into the channel on the door edge to confirm orientation and length. Trim excess if necessary with scissors or a utility knife.
- If vehicle or part requires adhesive, apply a thin, even bead of weatherstrip adhesive to the channel per adhesive instructions. Begin seating the seal at one end and press it firmly into the channel along its full length.
- Ensure the seal is fully seated with no twists or gaps; check that door closes freely and window operates without interference.
- Reinstall the interior trim panel and any removed components. Allow any adhesive to cure per the adhesive manufacturer’s recommendations before exposing to water.
