Rear sway bar link (right or left hand) designed for 1999–2017 Chevrolet, Ford, Lincoln, Mazda, Pontiac and Porsche models. This suspension link secures the anti-roll (sway) bar to the vehicle’s control arm or strut, restoring proper lateral stability and reducing body roll during cornering. Built for reliable performance, it helps eliminate clunks and uneven handling caused by worn or broken links. Durable materials and a direct-fit design make this an effective replacement for worn factory components during routine suspension maintenance or full restoration projects.

Instructions:
  1. Park on a level surface, engage parking brake and chock front wheels.
  2. Loosen rear wheel lug nuts slightly, then lift the rear of the vehicle with a floor jack and support securely on jack stands. Remove the rear wheel.
  3. Locate the sway bar link connecting the sway bar to the control arm or strut. Spray penetrating oil on nuts/bolts if corroded; allow to soak.
  4. Use appropriate sockets/wrenches to remove the nut(s) securing the sway bar link at both ends. Hold the ball stud with a wrench to prevent spinning while loosening the nut if necessary.
  5. Remove the worn sway bar link. Use a pry bar or rubber mallet if seized, taking care not to damage surrounding components.
  6. Position the new sway bar link in place, aligning the ball studs with the sway bar and control arm/stud mounts.
  7. Install nuts and hand-tighten to hold the link. With the suspension at normal ride height (or as specified by vehicle manual), torque the fasteners to the manufacturer's recommended specifications.
  8. Reinstall the wheel, lower the vehicle, and torque the lug nuts to spec. Test drive at low speed to confirm noise elimination and normal handling.
  9. Re-check torque on link fasteners and wheel lug nuts after a short test drive.
