Precision Beltline Molding, Outer Left or Right Hand - Second Series WFB 1110 55 is a direct-fit outer beltline trim piece designed for Second Series WFB 1110/55 vehicles. It protects the top edge of the body panel and the window opening from chips, water intrusion and cosmetic damage while securing the window/weatherstrip in place. The molding restores the vehicle’s original appearance, is made from corrosion-resistant material with a factory-style finish, and is built for long-term durability, reliability, and straightforward installation.
Features:
  • Fits Second Series WFB 1110/55 vehicles — outer beltline molding, left or right hand.
  • Corrosion-resistant metal construction with a factory-style finish for long-lasting appearance.
  • Protects the beltline and window edge from chips, moisture and wear.
  • Secures window/weatherstrip and helps maintain correct glass alignment.
  • Direct-fit replacement — engineered to match original panel profile and mounting points.
  • Easy to install with basic hand tools; ideal for restoration or maintenance projects.
Installation / Application:
  • Difficulty: 2/5
  • Estimated time: 30-60 minutes per side
Suggested Tools:
  • Trim removal tool or flat pry tool
  • Phillips/flat screwdriver
  • Needle-nose pliers or clip pliers
  • Clean cloth and isopropyl alcohol
  • Replacement clips or adhesive/sealant (if required)
  • Masking tape
  • Heat gun (optional, for cold climates)
Instructions:
  1. Park on a level surface, engage parking brake, and lower the window slightly if applicable to access the molding edge.
  2. Carefully remove the old molding: use a trim tool to pry out fasteners or gently lift the molding away from the panel. Remove any screws or retainers.
  3. Remove old clips and adhesive residue from the mounting surface. Clean the area thoroughly with isopropyl alcohol and a lint-free cloth. Allow to dry.
  4. Test-fit the new molding on the panel to verify fit and orientation (left vs right). Identify clip/screw locations.
  5. If new clips are required, press them into the molding at the designated locations. If adhesive/sealant is specified, apply a continuous bead to the mounting flange per product instructions.
  6. Align the molding with the panel edge and press firmly into place, engaging all clips or fasteners. Use masking tape to hold the molding in position if needed while adhesive cures.
  7. Reinstall any screws, trim pieces or weatherstrips that were removed. Check window operation (if applicable) and confirm there are no gaps.
  8. Allow any adhesive or sealant to cure per manufacturer recommendations before driving. Recheck fasteners after a short test drive and retorque or reseat clips if necessary.
